Abstract
The palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction of diaryliodonium salt s with organozirconium compounds was achieved for about 1-1.5 hrs at r oom temperature and the reaction proceeded with retention of configura tion to provide a new convenient method for the synthesis of (E)-disub stituted alkenes.
