This study examines the relationship of individualism to Islamic work beliefs among Arab teachers in Israel. Three factors emerged from the factor analysis of the Islamic Work Ethic (IWE) scale. Personal and or ganizational obligations was the dominant IWE factor and was relativel y independent of individualism. The other two IWE factors were moderat ely correlated to the individualism index.
