Abstract
In a 42-year-old man with intermittent calf claudication, cystic adven titial disease of the popliteal artery was demonstrated by 3D CT. Cyst ic mass was seen to be compressing the arterial lumen. The diagnosis o f cystic adventitial was confirmed by surgery. Compared with color dop pler sonography, MR Imaging, 3D CT profides additional useful anatomic information concerning disease of the popliteal artery, usually gaine d only with sonography or arteriography.
