We use a variational perturbative method for the calculation of the en
ergy levels of impurity magnetopolarons in parabolic quantum wires. Th
e method is reasonable for all electron-phonon coupling alpha, all Ryd
berg constant R, all parabolic frequency omega and all cyclotron frequ
ency omega(c). The ground state and first excited state energies are c
omputed by the method and their dependence on alpha, R, omega and omeg
a(c) is discussed.
