Abstract
A case of a coincidental finding of hepatic carcinoid micrometastases, barely visible to the eye, during routine laparoscopic cholecystectom y is reported, The micrometastases were possibly recognized as a resul t of a beneficial aspect of laparoscopic surgery, namely the >10x enla rgement of tissue/pathologic structures.
