Abstract
The complete nucleotide sequence of Biomphalaria glabrata actin has be en cloned by PCR amplification and screening of a cDNA library of Biom phalaria glabrata. The comparison of the deduced amino acid sequence w ith other actins suggests that a cytoskeletal form of the protein has been cloned.
