We have performed low temperature photoluminescence and photoluminesce
nce excitation measurements on semimagnetic quantum wells with parabol
ic and half-parabolic shape of the potential. The detailed analyses of
the observed nondiagonal transitions allows a precise determination o
f the valence band offset with the accuracy 0.41 +/- 0.03 meV.
