Abstract
We have recently described empirical correlations between Pb-207 NMR c hemical shift (oxidation state 2+) and structure in solids (Fayon et a l.) that should allow the use of Pb-207 NMR as a structural probe in d isordered solids of complex composition. These empirical correlations are compared to new experimental NMR data in crystalline lead aluminat es and lead silicates.
