Abstract
Assignment of all P-31 resonances of 16 base-pair DNA duplexes, (5t)d( CTGGGGACTTTCCAGG)(3t) (5t)d(CCTGGAAAGTCCCCAG)(3t), related to the DNA kappa B Site of the HIV-1 LTR together with a mutated sequence (5t)d(C TGCTCACTTTCCAGG)(3t) (5t)d(CCTGGAAAGTGAGCAG)(3t) was determined by 2D heteronuclear inverse NMR spectroscopy (HSQC-TOCSY and heteronuclear C OSY). (3)JH(3')-P coupling constants for most of the phosphates of the mutated oligomer were obtained using heteronuclear selective COSY.
