Abstract
A new method of Ni-PTFE (nickel-polytetrafluoroethylene) composite pla ting surface for achieving dropwise condensation of water vapor was in vestigated. On the basis of the study of Ni-PTFE composite electroplat ing technique, comparative experiments of condensation heat transfer o n composite plating surface and on brass surface were conducted. The e xperimental results show that dropwise condensation of water vapor can be realized on Ni-PTFE composite plating surface and the enhancement of condensation heat transfer is remarkable.
