Abstract
This paper concerns the automatic evaluation of Young's modulus of met allic materials. A procedure has been developed to support the experim ental measurement process. A calculation scheme for an evaluation of t he overall uncertainty of modulus value is presented according to ISO/ IEC/OIML/BIPM guide published by ISO TAG4/WG3. Some numerical experime ntal results are also provided.
