Abstract
Poly(4-Vinylpyridine) was synthesized by free radicalic polymerization . Solution doping process with metallic sodium was carried out. A cond uctivity value around 10(-6) S/cm was obtained. Relative change in the conductivity with dopant concentration, temperature dependence of con ductivity, conductivity behavior in atmospheric conditions for the sam ples were analyzed. SEM and EDX techniques mere also used for the char acterization of the polymer.
