Abstract
We discuss 180 degrees domain walls when magnetostriction is small. An alytic as well as numerical calculation under periodic boundary condit ions provides for a reasonable domain wall width using the bulk anisot ropy parameter. This clears up some of the puzzles raised by recent ex periments and calculations by Berger et al. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
