Abstract
Necessary conditions to create hyperchaos in a dynamical system are di scussed. Three examples exhibiting hyperchaos in electronic circuits w ith only one active element are described. The first is the modified M atsumoto-Chua-Kobayashi oscillator and the two others are the fourth o rder oscillators with either parallel- or combined parallel-series res onance loops.
