Abstract
Within the framework of classical statistical mechanics, we draw some nontrivial connections and analogies between the Bethe model B and qua ntum physics in Cantorian spacetime E. In particular, we show that the E and B space although formally infinite-dimensional and appearing to be so, they have effectively a finite Hausdorff dimension (d)=4+phi(3 ), where phi(3)=[(root 5-1)/2](3) with the continuous fracture represe ntation [d]=((4) over bar).
