We apply our Yennie-Frautschi-Suura exponentiated cross-section formul
as for the parton process q + (((q) over bar))' --> q '' + (((q) over
bar))''' + n(G) to the process q + (q) over bar --> t + (t) over bar n(G) at FNAL energies, where G is a QCD gluon. We use semi-analytical
methods to compute the ratio tau(expt) = <(sigma)over cap>(expt)/<(si
gma)over cap>(B), where <(sigma)over cap>(expt) is our soft gluon YFS
exponentiated cross-section and <(sigma)over cap>(B) is the Born cross
-section. For m(t) = 0.176(0.199) TeV, we get tau(expt) = 1.65(1.48),
respectively, for q = u. for example. We show that these parton level
results, when properly synthesized with the DGLAP structure function e
volution, lead to the conclusion that the YFS exponentiated hadron lev
el cross-section for p (p) over bar --> t (t) over bar + X is increase
d by similar to 0.6-0.8% beyond the Born cross-section due to the re-s
ummation of soft gluon effects beyond those in the exact O(alpha(s)) c
orrection when m(t) = 176 GeV. These results are not inconsistent with
the recent observations by CDF and D0.
