Abstract
A new magnesium-borate double salt which was nominated as chloropinnoi te was synthesized and the phase interaction with water at 47815 K and 55315 K studied. The results suggest that certain pure magnesium-bora tes can be synthesized from chloropinnoite-water system under differen t conditions, and the physico-chemical data of these berates can be ob tained.
