Ad. Davydov et Va. Marichev, ELECTROCHEMICAL-BEHAVIOR OF TUNGSTEN STUDIED BY THE CONTACT ELECTRIC-RESISTANCE METHOD, Russian journal of electrochemistry, 34(2), 1998, pp. 212-215
The electrochemical behavior of tungsten in I NI H2SO4 and KOH solutio
ns is studied by the contact electric resistance (CER) method, which e
nables one to detect the adsorption and phase oxide films on the elect
rode surface. Time variation of CER Is measured at given potentials in
the anodic and cathodic regions. CER for the W/KOH electrochemical sy
stem, polarized with bipolar rectangular potential pulses, is measured
as a function of the amplitude and length of the pulses.
