Cp. Singh et Vk. Tiwari, STRANGE PARTICLES FREEZE-OUT CONDITIONS FROM A NEW HADRONIC EQUATION OF STATE, EUROPEAN PHYSICAL JOURNAL C-PARTICLES AND FIELDS, 1(1-2), 1998, pp. 355-361
We propose a thermodynamically consistent equation of state (EOS) for
a hot and dense handron gas (HG) incorporating the hard-core finite-si
ze correction for baryons which result in a Van-der Waals excluded vol
ume effect. We develop a complete description within a thermal hadron
gas model to determine the production of strange particles in relativi
stic nucleus-nucleus collisions and calculate the strange particle rat
ios as function of baryon chemical potential mu(B) and temperature T.
The results are compared with other existing thermodynamically consist
ent EOS. Furthermore we extract the thermal freeze-out parameters for
different strange particles using the latest data obtained by the CERN
experiments.
