P. Pospisil et al., LOW AND HIGH-TEMPERATURE DEPENDENCE OF MINIMUM F-O AND MAXIMUM F-M CHLOROPHYLL FLUORESCENCE IN-VIVO, Biochimica et biophysica acta. Bioenergetics, 1363(2), 1998, pp. 95-99
The aim of this paper is to give a global insight into the behaviour o
f F-0 and F-M in a wide temperature range from -100 degrees C to 75 de
grees C. We show that the F-0 increases upon linear freezing, similarl
y to the widely published increase of the F-0 upon linear heating. In
contrast to this the F-M decreases upon linear heating in the whole te
mperature range from -100 degrees C to 75 degrees C. A comparison of l
ow and high temperature induced increase of the F-0 is presented. (C)
