Abstract
Hydrogen absorption and desorption properties of the (Hf,Zr)(2)Fe quas ibinary alloys (Ti2Ni structure type) and the oxygen-stabilised compou nd Zr4Fe2O0.6 with the filled-Ti2Ni type of structure, have been studi ed and discussed in relation to their phase-structural and chemical co mposition. The crystallographic characteristics, hyperfine parameters and magnetic properties of the hydrogenated alloys have been determine d. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science S.A.
