Abstract
A series of mercury based cuprates Hg0.7V0.3Ba2-xSrxCa1-ySryCu2O6+delt a with the 1212 structure has been synthesized for 0.05 less than or e qual to x 0.95 and 0 less than or equal to y less than or equal to 0.3 4. This study shows the simultaneous substitution of strontium for bot h barium and calcium. All these as-synthesized materials are supercond uctors with T-c ranging from 115K (x+y=1.29) to 120K (x+y=0.05). No st eepening of the irreversibility lines, is obtained for strontium subst ituted mercury cuprates compared to pure barium ones.
