Abstract
This research note deals with a new approach to the solution of the ge neral equation for thermal breakdown in solid dielectrics. Although th e solution is subjected to some limitations, it offers the critical te mperature at which the insulation properties are lost. (C) 1997 The Fr anklin Institute.
