The author first reviews the work of Professor Henri Baruk regarding m
oral conscience in affective intellectual life and the conduct of huma
n brings, particularly delinquent subjects. He then summarizes the cri
minologic literature concerning the influence of moral conceptions in
preventing antisocial behaviour. In agreement with Baruk, the autor co
ncludes that moral judgement must be made to play a lending role in th
e exercise of justice and social functioning.
