Abstract
A new flavonoid di-C-glycoside, violarvensin (1), was isolated from th e aerial parts of Viola arvensis, together with the known derivative v iolanthin (2). The structure of 1 was established as -D-glucopyranosyl -8-C-beta-D-6-deoxygulopyranoside by spectral analysis.
