Abstract
In this paper, we present a regularization for semiexplicit index-1 di fferential-algebraic equations with rank-deficient or singular constra ints. We consider those problems for which the solution is well define d through the singularity. We give convergence results for the regular ization applied to linear DAEs, and present some numerical experiments which illustrate its effectiveness.
