Abstract
The recently released Commission of Inquiry on the Blood System in Can ada, Final Report, The Honourable Mr. Justice Horace Krever, has impli cations for public health practice in all jurisdictions in Canada. Thi s report was influenced by a submission to the Commission of Inquiry e ntitled ''Public Health and the Blood System in Canada: Issues and Pri orities'' from the Canadian Public Health Association, November 1994. The Commission Report comments on public health in Canada. The specifi c sections are quoted verbatim in this editorial for the reader's peru sal.
