Abstract
The convergence of biological and sedimentary data, supported by five new radiocarbon dates, allows to describe the Holocene relative rise i n sea level along the banks of a Mediterranean lagoon. The marine tran sgression interferes with uplift and pulses or terrigenous deposition in the evolution of the coastline.
