AIR FILTRATION MEDIA FOR TRANSPORTATION APPLICATIONS

Filter Media characterization and the matching of media to the operati ng environment and particulate characteristics are key to understandin g and optimizing media performance in the transportation environment. A review of media characteristics, classes of filter media, particle s ize distribution and media versus particle relationships set the stage for an examination of a vehicle intake air filtration application.
