Abstract
Resolution of several racemic epoxides was accomplished using an epoxi de hydrolase activity of whole cells of the newly isolated Aspergillus niger. (S)-Styrene oxide, for example, was obtained from its racemate s with optical purity of 100% ee and 32% yield.
