Abstract
A new case of simultaneous dislocation of the proximal and distal inte rphalangeal joints on the same digit is reported, This injury is uncom mon in the index, The forces were applied to the finger tip in hyperex tension position, Closed treatment provided a good result with full ra nge of motion, Therapeutic options are discussed.
