Abstract
Effects of the cytokinins 6-benzylaminopurine (BAP) and N-2-chloro-4 p yridyl-N'-phenylurea (4-PU-30) on the photochemical activity, oxygen f lash yields, and thermoluminescence in bean plants under a water stres s were studied. The cytokinins increased the photochemical (Hill react ion) activity and thermoluminescence ''B''-band in control as well as in stressed and rehydrated plants, while the oxygen flash yields were affected only in the stressed and rehydrated plants.
