Abstract
Coronary artery perforation is a relatively rare complication in coron ary angioplasty. We report the case of a 71-year-old male, who was sal vaged by emergency surgery, for cardiogenic shock due to subepicardial hematoma associated with balloon angioplasty. Such a case has not yet previously been reported. (C) 1997 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
