V. Mooney et S. Leggett, OBJECTIVE FUNCTIONAL ASSESSMENT IN DISABILITY CASE RESOLUTION, Journal of occupational rehabilitation, 7(4), 1997, pp. 217-224
This case report documents the benefits of objective testing to allow
a resolution of disability claims for a worker who has not been comple
tely honest with the system. Only specific testing focused at both fun
ction and perception can accomplish appropriate adjudication of such c
laims. Objective medical findings remain the goal of all clinicians at
tempting to treat persistent soft tissue injuries.
