Abstract
Warning symptoms in 150 cluster headache patients were studied by focu sing on attacks occurring during waking hours. Warnings were divided i nto prodromes that started minutes before the pain of individual attac ks (122 patients) and premonitory symptoms preceding the onset of clus ter periods by days to weeks (12 patients). Pathogenetic and therapeut ic implications are discussed.
