DISMATURITY ISLET CELLS SYNDROME - REPORT OF 2 CASES ONSET WITH SEIZURES

The Authors report on two patients, aged 21 and 24 months, affected by chronic hyperinsulinemic hypoglicemia, who developped seizures at the onset. Such patients seemed to us worth mentioning both for the pecul iarity of the syndrome, which is rare in childhood, for the complex fu nctional and instrumental diagnostic investigations to be performed in order to attend a definite diagnosis, and for its therapeutic protoco l still to be defined.
