Abstract
The short-lived isotopes of W and their descendants have been separate d from nuclear reaction products arising in the bombardment of samariu m target with Mg-24 ions at the U-400 cyclotron of JINR-Dubna. Chemica l separations were performed using previously elaborated fast and cont inuous ion exchange. In similar way products of U-235 fission, obtaine d at the microtron MT-25 during irradiation of U-235 target with photo neutrons were separated.
