The Dynavision is a nem apparatus that may help address some of the li
mitations inherent in conventional approaches to rehabilitation of vis
ual skills of persons suffering from neurological dysfunction. Here th
e basic features of the apparatus are described, an overview of prelim
inary experimental evidence for its effectiveness in rehabilitation pr
esented and application in the training of compensatory scanning strat
egies for visual inattention and visual-field deficits and in the incr
easing of oculomotor control outlined.
