Abstract
This study reports on use of tests in the assessment of pain patients. Data are based on 212 respondents from the Society of Behavioral Medi cine. Personality inventories, measures of depression and anxiety, cop ing scales, and the McGill Pain Questionnaire mere among the top 10 ra nked instruments.
