Recently, we established a family S-f(q;omega(2)) of sixth-order four-
step exponential-fitted methods for solving the initial value problem
y '' = f(x, y), y(a) = y(0), y'(a) = y(0)'. This family depends on fiv
e parameters: a four-dimensional vector omega(2) which is tuned in ter
ms of f(x, y) and a scalar q that is fixed in terms of stability requi
rements. Based on this family a code called EFMS has been developed. I
n the present paper, we give a brief(1) overview of some of the featur
es of these methods and the code.
