Abstract
The following report is a summary of the working group discussions on emittance preservation and related topics. Experiences from Fermilab, Brookhaven National Laboratory, CERN and DESY have been summarized, co mpared, and discussed. Progress was reported on high gamma(T) lattices and novel beam handling techniques. The potential benefit of new acce lerators in the CERN PS complex was discussed.
