Abstract
A new polyrotaxane containing a conjugated backbone has been synthesiz ed via a copper(I) template and electropolymerisation; after decomplex ation of Cu-I, remetallation is only possible if lithium is present du ring copper removal, as labile scaffolding able to prevent collapse of the free coordination sites and of the organic matrix.
