MAPPING CERTAIN PLANAR ELASTICITY PROBLEMS TO ANTIPLANE ONES

This paper treats two-dimensional problems of anisotropic elasticity i n two-phase media. The equilibrium equations and interface boundary co nditions are written in terms of the fundamental elasticity matrices i n both phases. The conditions for decoupling into two problems of (pos sibly viscoelastic) anti-plane shear are derived. (C) Elsevier, Paris.
