Abstract
In this paper, the nonlinear cross-modulation noise / interference ari sing from channel filtering and leakage in a six-port digital millimet ric receiver (DMR) is studied in detail. The in-band noise / interfere nce arises from strong noise / interference outside the receiving band width, and will deteriorate the bit-error rate (BER). Analysis and sim ulation results of this effect are provided, and results on methods of its suppression are also given. (C) 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
