Abstract
Heptakis(2,3-di-O-acetylated)-beta-cyclodextrin was tested for its uti lizability to check the enantiomeric purity of the chiral protonated p henethylamines, such as selegiline, amphetamine and norephedrine, by m eans of NMR spectroscopy. For all compounds, the method turned out to be a powerful and rapid tool, which should be considered more frequent ly in drug analysis.
