Anisotropy of the properties of carbon-epoxy composites in the tempera
ture range from 290 to 600 K was studied by the methods of relaxation
spectroscopy and electric conductivity. It was found that the anisotro
py of the conductivity and the storage modulus of the composite sharpl
y increases in the vicinity of the main alpha-relaxation process. An a
nalogy in the temperature variation of the electric and viscoelastic p
roperties of the composite is described and the possible physical mech
anisms of these phenomena are considered.
