Abstract
Boundedness and uniform boundedness conditions for solutions of delay differential equations are given in terms of nonmonotone along solutio ns Liapunov functionals. The functionals are not supposed to be positi vely definite. Coefficient conditions of the boundedness are offered f or linear scalar equations with concentrated and distributed delay.
