Abstract
We study the asymptotic behavior of a sequence of Dirichlet problems o n varying domains for a Dirichlet form of diffusion on a locally compa ct Hausdorff space. The limit problem admits a characterization in ter ms of a Borel measure, which can be identified by using a suitable cap acity associated with the Dirichlet form. (C) Elsevier, Paris.
