Abstract
This paper outlines the formal regulations which the Belgian veterinar y surgeon must adhere to for the acquisition, retention, dispensation, administration, prescription and use of medicines. The intention is t o provide a recapitulation which should make it easier to cope with fo rthcoming changes.
