Abstract
N-(Vinyloxyalkyl)enaminoketones were obtained by the condensation of v inyloxyalkyl-amines with acetylacetone or ethyl acetoacetate. Their su bsequent reactions with 1,4-benzoquinone produce the corresponding 5-h ydroxy-2-methyl-N-(2-vinyloxyalkyl)indoles in 17-43% yields. The struc tures of the compounds obtained were confirmed by IR and H-1 NMR spect roscopy.
